The problem with kitchen faucets that are rich in features is that they tend to cost several hundred dollars. That’s not an investment that ever family or small business can absorb at any given moment. With the BioBidet hands-free flow faucet, there is another option to consider for homeowners and professionals who demand excellence.

The Flow faucet offers a modern, gooseneck design that features a single side-handle for temperature control. It comes in either brushed nickel or chrome, has a nice pull-down mechanism that works well, and comes packed with a ton of features.

If you’re looking for a high-quality faucet at a price that is affordable, this is one of the best models to choose today.

What Are the Features of the BioBidet Flow Faucet?

  • It offers a hands-free motion sensor so you don’t need to reach across the sink with messy hands to turn on the faucet.
  • No hardwiring is required to operate this faucet. It runs on battery power and the result is long-lasting consistency. Two AA batteries are required to operate the electronic components on this kitchen faucet.
  • The retraction feature is based on SmartLatch technology and offers a quiet user experience. The nylon braided hose, colored in black on both finish options, moves well up and down and this makes docking the spray head a simple task.
  • You have access to 2 different spray modes with this faucet: the standard stream and the aerated spray. The button to control the spray modes is at the back of the head instead of the front.

What we really loved about this faucet, especially with the brushed nickel finish, is that cleaning and maintenance are kept to a minimum. Stains don’t settle on the surface often, but if they do, a simple wipe is all that is needed to make it shine bright again. Since it is a touchless model as well, there are fewer fingerprints to deal with as well.

The faucet is a little heavy at 7 pounds, but some may see that as a good thing. It is an indication that the Flow faucet has been solidly built.
There is also a manual bypass for the sensor, should it malfunction.

Our Grade for the BioBidet Flow Faucet

We give the BioBidet hands-free flow faucet an 8.1 rating on our 10-point scale.

The biggest complaint about this specific faucet is the lack of quality control on the sensor for the touchless technology. Although we didn’t encounter a failure of this feature, we did notice that false activations were easier to trigger with this model compared to others with a similar option.

You’ll also need to have some room underneath the sink for the pull-down feature of this faucet to really work its magic. Some users may encounter catching or hesitation when trying to pull down on the spray head.

If you don’t have them, you’ll also want to get yourself a set of check valves before installing this faucet.

Overall, the positives that this kitchen faucet brings are far greater than its negatives and it will certainly help to create a wonderful new look in almost any kitchen.

Sometimes you’re looking for a kitchen faucet that will outlive the time you spend in your home. Then there are times when you need a quick, but good replacement because your previous faucet just kicked the bucket… while you were trying to fill it. The Boharers kitchen faucet with pull down sprayer isn’t going to compete with premium brands or models, nor should it even try to do so.

This is an entry-level kitchen faucet that is designed to provide three key benefits.

  • Fit within your budget. It has an MSRP of $169.99, but often retails for less than $100.
  • Look good in your kitchen. This faucet design is similar to most modern single-handle gooseneck designs that are available in every pricing category today.
  • Give you water. You receive complete basin access with this kitchen faucet with minimal splashing while still receiving a fair amount of clearance for whatever chores may need to be finished.

The overall height of this faucet is 16.3 inches, though the spout height and reach is 8.25 inches. It is designed for a 1-hole sink installation, but a 10.25-inch deck plate does come with this faucet for those who need to cover a 3-hole installation point.

What to Expect with the Boharers Kitchen Faucet

Although it is a basic kitchen faucet, there are some nice elements that have been built into the design of the unit that make it worth considering. You receive a full 360-degree swivel with the high arc design. That gives you full access to your sink and plenty of clearance so that your work can get done.

The pull-down sprayer also offers the standard dual-function design that offers a cleaning rinse and an aerated stream. That limits the amount of water that is wasted while working at the sink without compromising the ability of the faucet to help with cleaning.

We were also pleasantly surprised with how easy the faucet was to install. You receive the source hoses in the box and anyone with at least a little plumbing experience can get the job done in an hour or so.

Now the pull-down sprayer isn’t magnetized, so docking it can be a bit of a problem. The connections within the faucet can give way with above average use, separating the handle from the faucet over time. For those with a 3-hole installation, be aware that the deck plate is not included and must be purchased separately.

Our Grade for the Boharers Kitchen Faucet

We give this kitchen faucet a score of 6.9 on our 10-point scale.

The Boharers kitchen faucet with pull down sprayer isn’t a bad entry-level faucet. It just doesn’t stand up to the wear and tear like its better built companions at a more expensive price point can usually do. It’s a stylish faucet, provides good water pressure, and does a decent enough job.

There are long-term durability issues to think about, but for a short-term solution, this faucet is a good value purchase.

Commercial-style faucets make for an excellent tool at the sink in any kitchen of any size. The only problem with these professional faucets is that they are out of the price range for the average consumer. With the Gicasa semi-pro pull-down kitchen faucet, the ability to own a good faucet that is useful, but still fashionable, is finally within reach.

There are two finish options that are available with this Gicasa model. We were only given access to evaluate the oil-rubbed bronze finish.

Here is a summary of our experiences.

What to Expect with the Gicasa Semi-Pro Faucet

We found this kitchen faucet to be surprisingly stout. It’s strong and sturdy and well-suited for kitchens that see a lot of activity. The weight of the unit is over 8 pounds and the faucet body features an all-brass design. This works in combination with a good ceramic cartridge so the faucet avoids leaks, drips, and other potential causes of damage.
The spray head and internal components, however, are plastic.

The hose on this pull-down model also locks into place with a gravity ball design, slightly different than the magnetic locks that come on models like this from other manufacturers. The spray head still locks into place, but it is a little easier to knock it out of place compared to a full magnetic system.

The gooseneck design utilizes the commercial-style coil spring and gives the faucet an overall height of 20.5 inches, but the spout height is just 5.3 inches. It can be installed onto a deck that is up to 2.5 inches in thickness.

The finish looks great out of the box, comparable to other brands, but at a fraction of the cost that other oil-rubbed bronze faucets tend to be priced at.

Installing the kitchen faucet is a nightmare if you don’t know much about plumbing. The instructions are difficult to follow and could lead to product or home damage. We’d highly recommend a professional installation.

The hose length is very short and that limits basin coverage. We also saw changes to the finish along the handle with heavy use of the faucet.

Our Grade for the Gicasa Semi-Pro Faucet

We give this kitchen faucet a rating of 7.3 on our 10-point scale.

The Gicasa semi-pro pull-down kitchen faucet doesn’t quite put fashion in front of function, but it does come pretty close to doing so. We found the handle to be somewhat sensitive to commands, especially for pressure changes that are required, and there can be some heat felt through the plastic spray head on when the water heater setting is above 120F.

There is also some concern about counter splashing with this faucet due to its extended height and limited basin coverage. Smaller sinks may not accommodate this particular commercial-style model very well.

If you love the look of oil-rubbed bronze and your budget is tight, however, this is one of the best options available in today’s market. Give it a close look and you may just discover that it is one good deal for your upcoming kitchen project.

Sometimes the best faucets focus on getting the basics right to make sure a kitchen receives the best possible user experience. There’s more function than form, but that design is still useable and offers good sink access. That is the best way to describe what comes with the Delta Essa single handle pull-down kitchen faucet.

It offers a standard gooseneck design. The pull-down spray head fits nicely into the palm, doesn’t slip, and has a rear-facing button to switch between sprays. Four different finish options are available, each working with a 1-hole or 3-hole sink. You don’t have to worry about the deck plate if it is needed because it comes in the box.

Here is a summary of our experience with this model.

What to Expect When Using the Delta Essa

The nicest feature that comes with the design of the Delta Essa is its easy clean features. The rubber nozzles on the end of the spray head are much easier to clean than similar models from other manufacturers. Although you won’t want to use a fingernail to do so like you could with a showerhead, the scale tends to slide right off.

We also like the full swivel action that is provided by the Delta Essa. Once installed, it can give you a full 360 degrees of access at the sink. That is combined with the MangaTite docking that keeps the wand in place for a solid user experience that limits drips, leaks, and other common forms of faucet damage that may occur.

One-piece supply lines are included with this kitchen faucet and a diamond-embedded ceramic disc provides users with a level of consistency that isn’t always found in faucets today. Leak points are effectively reduced and spray head drooping risks are reduced because of these design elements.

The height clearance of the faucet is 16.5 inches and the pull-down feature extends to about 24 inches, so you have plenty of working space. Some homeowners and professionals may prefer to go with the Touch2O system to eliminate premature wear on the handle as well.

Our Grade for the Delta Essa

We give this kitchen faucet a 7.8 rating on our 10-point scale.

Our main concern with this faucet is the overall reach of the spray. The reach of the gooseneck is slightly further forward than a standard design, which pushes the spray toward where the user is standing. If the sink is smaller than average, it is entirely possible that homeowners could experience the water spray reaching the top of the counter.

This issue can be countered by only using the faucet as a pull-down option, but that does limit the usefulness of the product somewhat in that specific circumstance.

We didn’t encounter any issues during the installation or testing process with the Delta Essa single handle pull-down kitchen faucet. It performed well, got the basics right, and looked good doing it. That, in our view, makes it a pretty solid investment opportunity.

There are products which describe themselves as being “commercial.” Then there are kitchen faucets which have a commercial quality to them so you know they can provide consistent results. Although the Comllen Commercial Stainless Steel pull down sprayer does provide a little of both, for an entry-level faucet, we found ourselves being pleasantly surprised with the results that were produced.

This faucet offers a standard gooseneck design, providing 360 degrees of rotation for full basin access. It comes with a brushed nickel finish, a high arch spout for pot filling, and a responsive handle for pressure and temperature controls.

It is a 1-hole installation only. No deck plate is included for a 3-hole sink.

What We Discovered with the Comllen Commercial Faucet

When you purchase an affordable kitchen faucet with entry-level features, there are some sacrifices that must be made to bring down the final price consumers pay. The most noticeable change for this faucet is the quality of the hose that connects the spray head to the fixture. Instead of using a braided metal design, the product uses a mesh-type hose on a mounting that is nothing but a threaded plastic sleeve.

We also found that the faucet was more difficult to install than other faucets of comparable size and weight. Once the installation is finished, the faucet looks great and is fully functional. Just make sure you set the faucet in such a way that the handle moves toward the hot and cold water in a way that works for you.

The seals that prevent water from dripping and leaking do seem to need a breaking-in period after installation. For the first week or so, there was a prolonged period of dripping from the spray head after turning the water off. This problem eventually resolved on its own, providing an affordable solution that looks nice in the kitchen.

We do have concerns about the finish. You’ll want to wipe it down with a damp, soft cloth only. Anything thing else, including dish rags with texturing, may scratch the finish of this faucet.

Our Grade for the Comllen Commercial Faucet

We give this kitchen faucet a rating of 6.9 on our 10-point scale.

It does have some elements of commercial quality to it, but there are also some elements of commercial marketing that cannot be overlooked. We’d like the finish to be stronger, the product consistency to be a little better, and fewer overall plastic components.

To be fair, if the manufacturer were to make those changes, then this faucet would no longer be offered at the price point it is currently at.

We loved how the faucet looked in the kitchen. There is some extra play in the faucet movement that makes us a little uncomfortable, but after the initial period of use, we encountered no real problems with this faucet.

If you need an affordable replacement or entry-level upgrade for an old faucet, give the Comllen Commercial Stainless Steel pull down sprayer a closer look.

Many commercial faucets are installed right on the sink, providing a solid, but weighty, user experience. You get to benefit from the heavy-duty design, but the sink groans under the weight of the faucet. The Imlezon wall-mount kitchen sink faucet offers a different option to consider. Instead of mounting on the sink, it utilizes a wall-mount design.

This unique commercial faucet does more than offer a simple pull-down sprayer on a high arc gooseneck and call itself good. You have dual faucets that can be accessed with this wonderful design. The primary faucet is the spring-based flexible look with a commercial trigger for fast and effective washing. Then there’s a secondary faucet, with an L-shaped design, which gives you a traditional user experience as well.

Here are some of the features we encountered when evaluating this affordable kitchen faucet option.

#1. It features a heavy-duty brass construction. This kitchen faucet features a lead-free construction and offers a finish that is resistant to corrosion. The total weight of this faucet is about 12 pounds, so be sure to follow all mounting instructions to ensure the best possible user experience.

#2. It offers double handles. This design element provides users with accurate temperature adjustments and better overall flow control. The swing nozzle is about 12 inches in length.

#3. The primary faucet offers 360 degrees of access. Although this is a wall-mount kitchen faucet, you do have access to a 360-degree design that gives you full basin access at the sink. Most installations won’t actually get 360 degrees because of the need for a wall, but it may be possible for some.

#4. Multiple height options are available. The basic faucet from Imlezon comes with a 25-inch total height from the mount to the top of the sprayer. There is another option that reaches 47 inches in height. Both options work equally well.

#5. It’s more a “style” than an actual industrial-strength faucet. The manufacturer classifies this faucet as being commercial because of the spring style. It’s a good residential faucet that may have some light business use, but for a full-service kitchen, there just isn’t enough quality here to create results.

#6. You’ll want a professional installation. Unless your plumbing setup is already designed to accept a wall-mount faucet, you are going to want a professional installing this fixture for you. It is going to take some time to get everything balanced and secured, with the risk of damage quite high. Make sure your installer is licensed, insured, and bonded for your protection as well.

We give the Imlezon wall-mount kitchen sink faucet a rating of 7.1 on our 10-point scale.

It is a heavy-duty faucet for its price point. There are several advantages that can be found with this product, particularly with its pre-rinse design, but there is also the challenge of the wall-mount requirement.

This kitchen faucet will not be suitable for every home. If you’re looking for this type of commercial product, we believe you’ll be surprised by everything this model can do.

Many commercial-style kitchen faucets tend to look a lot alike. They have a chrome finish, a spring-protected pull-down sprayer, and a bit of weight to the faucet itself. The Refin oversized heavy-duty commercial kitchen faucet takes a somewhat different approach.

Instead of a chrome finish, this model is an oil-rubbed bronze finish. You’ll still have the spring-protected sprayer, but it also has the bronze finish instead of chrome. As for the weight of the faucet, it is a bit heavy at over 11 pounds. Refin even includes a warning for those thinking about purchasing this faucet as it can bend thin stainless steel sinks.

Key Points to Think About with the Refin Commercial Faucet

  • The flow rate on this kitchen faucet is 1.8 GPM. It is suitable for most low-flow regulations, especially those in the United States.
  • The spout height is 5.7 inches, while the overall height of the product is about 26.85 inches.
  • There is a 5-year warranty available for this product, including for residential consumers.
  • The high arc spout is able to swivel a full 360 degrees while in use.

We found that this faucet is both beautiful and very functional. Although it is priced as a mid-range faucet, there are elements of high-end features and design elements that can be found. The spring on this commercial faucet allows for plenty of movement, but there is a bit of resistance to it as well. There are times when it feels like the faucet is trying to fight you.

For homes with higher PSI levels, there are multiple levels of pressure control incorporated into this faucet’s design. You can adjust the pressure at the sprayer, the primary lever, or at the valve that is intended to serve as a pot filler. This does an excellent job of reducing any splashing while using the kitchen faucet.

Once we got our hands on this faucet, we did notice that the threaded downspout was a little shorter than expected for a faucet with such height and weight. It’s just 2 inches long. For a heavier sink, that may leave only ¼-inch to fasten the threads to at best. That means cutting from the backing or finding an extension to insure a proper mount for this faucet.

Refin told us that after 2016, their threaded downspout total length became 4 inches to counter this issue. Our model may be a previous version.

We also discovered the water lines included with this kitchen faucet were just a touch short for where we needed them to be.

Our Grade for the Refin Commercial Faucet

We give this kitchen faucet a rating of 7.6 on our 10-point scale.

There are a lot of good things going on here, especially for the price of the Refin oversized heavy-duty commercial kitchen faucet. It is managing the installation that, for many, will be the biggest ownership headache.

When you get to actually use this faucet, it is a real pleasure. Ensure your sink can handle the weight of this faucet and enjoy this fashionable option.

Kitchen Faucet Finishes Which Bring You the Most Revenue

Kitchen faucets are usually separated into two categories by homeowners: design and finish. Homeowners will look for the best kitchen faucet style that works with their kitchen first and then they will look for the right finish.

As a contractor, you’ve got to pay close attention to your margins if you’re selling faucets as a way to supplement your revenue. You must price your faucets competitively, but still make some money on the deal. Instead of shopping the scratch and dent section from your local distributor or warehouse, consider focusing on these faucet finishes for the best results.

#1. Arctic Stainless Steel

This finish is offered by Delta faucets. You’ll find it available on most of their faucet series, but the gooseneck design and the pull-down design tend to be the most popular. For the Delta 9178-AR-DST Leland faucet, the MSRP is $373.95. Purchasing this faucet on wholesale can be as low as $110. To stay competitive with online pricing, that means you can add about $50 of revenue to your bottom line for every sale you make.

#2. Antique Nickel

This faucet finish gives the look of a light oil-rubbed bronze, but with a better resale value. Their Kingsley two-handle kitchen faucet with this finish is offered with an MSRP of $187.30, which is close to the price that it is offered online. If you purchase this faucet option from your local distributor, you could add up to $70 of potential profit by making this model available to your clients.

#3. Mocha Bronze

Although this isn’t a standard bronze finish, Insinkerator offers it on numerous models that bring in rustic and nature-inspired designs to the kitchen. It is darker than the standard oil-rubbed bronze, which hides stains and scratches well. Their Contemporary 1100 series dispenser has an MSRP of $632.60. Purchasing it wholesale and selling it at a competitive price can add about $100 of profits for each one sold.

#4. Matte Black

This color option is available through Delta, Moen, and Brizo. The Moen 7594BL kitchen faucet is a one-handle gooseneck design that provides a high arc user experience. It works with a 1-hole installation, but the cover plate is available to cover a 3-hole sink installation if necessary. The MSRP for this faucet is $390.45, but distributors have been known to offer it for about one-third of that price. That adds about $50 of profits to your job.

#5. Glacier

This is a finish that is offered by Moen. It is similar to an enamel white finish, but with added durability. It features a one-handle lever design, their Duralock quick connect system for installation, and has a pause button to stop the flow of water from the pull-down spout. The finish is guaranteed not to flake, corrode, or tarnish. Moen has set the MSRP of this faucet at $389.40. With wholesale purchasing and competitive pricing, you can still make an easy $40 per faucet.

By offering specific faucets that work with kitchen designs, it becomes easier to offer a complete estimate or RFQ to your potential clients. With the right finishes from today’s best kitchen faucet manufacturers, you’ll be able to supplement your income in a simple, but still meaningful way.

What are your favorite kitchen faucets to offer? What has been your most successful product?

About Danze as a Brand

Danze describes themselves as a brand that is “young” and “playful.” They are self-described as being independent thinkers, savvy within their market space, and believe that the world is full of possibilities.

“We’re grounded and humbled by the idea that people, all over America, are using Danze products every day in a multitude of ways.”

Their goal as a brand is to reflect the importance of style independence, understanding how their customers think, and being able to add something to the life of each person that uses one of their products.

The company was founded in 2000 and is currently based in Woodridge, Illinois. They are currently operated as a subsidiary of Globe Union Industrial Corporation, which is also involved in the manufacturing of other brands, such as AquaSource kitchen faucets.

Globe Union has more than 10,000 associates under their corporate banner. They are a publicly traded company, currently headquartered in Taiwan, and sell multiple products to customers in over 30 countries every day.

As with their Danze brand, Globe Union sells everything from bathroom accessories to showerheads to kitchen faucets.

“Globe Union applies world-class technology and processes to provide our customers a continuous stream of innovative, high-quality products.”

How Good Are Danze Kitchen Faucets?

Danze kitchen faucets are sold by a variety of retailers, both online and the traditional brick-and-mortar stores. Even local hardware stores are known to carry this brand from time to time. They are one of the few brands that look to incorporate modern styling to create a customized look while still being able to meet the budgetary demands of the average consumer.

In our research on this brand, we averaged the rankings of every retailer that accepts public reviews for Danze kitchen faucets. It came to a 4.0 out of 5.

We also took a look at forums, complaint websites, and similar content that collects public data regarding brand complaints. At first glimpse, the average rating for Danze on these platforms is just 1.4 out of 5.

When we dug deeper into what the reviews actually depicted, we discovered that many of the reviews weren’t for Danze. They were for an online kitchen and bath store that functions as a drop-shipper and has difficult return policies for consumers to follow. Although the ratings are associated with the Danze brand for online search purposes, they are not directly associated with the brand and should be ignored.

There is a noticeable difference in ratings between the gooseneck, commercial, and two-handle designs created by Danze. Their commercial-style kitchen faucets receive the highest ratings, averaging a 4.4 out of 5. The two-handle designs average an even higher rating, at 4.5.

In comparison, if the single-handle gooseneck kitchen faucets are evaluated on their own, the average is just 3.6.

For Danze, that means an emphasis must be placed on shopping outside of the collections that offer a one handle design with a gooseneck arc for the best possible results.

Kitchen Faucet Types That Are Available from Danze

Danze manufactures several types of faucets so that the perfect look and functionality can be added to almost any kitchen. You’ll find the following types of faucets are available in most of the collections that are currently being marketed.

  • Pull Down and Pull Out Kitchen Faucets
  • Pot Fillers
  • Single Handle Kitchen Faucets
  • Two Handle Kitchen Faucets
  • Dual Control Kitchen Faucets

Danze also has several convenience faucets and bar-type faucets that are available for installation which may work in certain kitchens.

Styles are contemporary, traditional, and transitional within this brand.

For the best value option, we highly recommend the collection that is called Opulence by Danze. Although this collection is priced a little higher than their other collections, the level of variety that is available, along with the fashion-forward looks that fuse old and new together harmoniously, is difficult to beat.

Take the single-handle pull-out kitchen faucet that is included with the Opulence collection. It offers elements of nature-driven design with a wider profile and top handle, yet the convenience of a pull-out design that meets most low-flow GPM requirements. This faucet operates at a maximum 1.75 GPM.

There are 6 different finishes available with this faucet, which is a single-hole mount design that comes with an optional deck plate. It offers a two-function faucet, with a spray or an aerated stream. Take the aerator out and you can achieve a maximum flow rate of 2.2 GPM for areas that do not have restrictions.

It is also a faucet that is quiet and can operate in virtually any kitchen. The spout height is just 7 inches, while the length is 8.5 inches. That design prevents a lot of splashing that other faucet designs tend to provide. It’s low lead compliant and uses ceramic disc valves to create a durable, tight seal that will last over time.

With some plumbing or faucet installation experience, DIY’ers can successfully install most Danze faucets without much problem. Installation guides and videos are available online. On the Danze website, you can download a PDF of their official installation manual, a spec sheet for your preferred faucet, and an illustrated parts list.

Danze provides a more affordable way to bring a modern upgrade to any home or create the perfect look for new construction. It’s definitely worth a closer look by anyone who is looking to install a new kitchen faucet in their home or business.

What Is the Warranty of a Danze Kitchen Faucet?

Danze guarantees that all non-electronic parts of their kitchen faucets will be free from defects in craftsmanship and materials for as long as it is owned by the customer. This warranty is in effect from the moment of purchase.

Electronic parts on Danze kitchen faucets are supported by a 5-year warranty. Commercial warranties, if they apply are limited to 5 years and 1 year respectively.

Customers who purchase and install a Danze kitchen faucet outside of North America are provided a 1-year warranty only.

During the warranty period, the brand will replace any part that proves to be defective under these conditions when operated using “normal” residential applications. If replacement is not practical in the sole discretion of the brand, then the faucet may be replaced or refunded in exchange for the return of the defective product.

Using steel wool, chemicals, or abrasive cleaners on the faucet may void the warranty.

If the installation instructions provided by Danze are not followed properly, then the warranty is voided immediately. Original proof of purchase is required to process a warranty claim. The defective parts or the faucet must be made available to have the warranty claim considered.

To begin the warranty claim process, dial 1 (888) 328-2383. The customer service line is open 8am-8pm on weekdays or 9am-6pm on Saturdays. All times are based on the Eastern time zone, either in standard time or daylight savings time.

Specific warranties may also vary in each state or province.

If you have recently purchased a Danze kitchen faucet or will be installing one for a client, be sure to use this product registration link to ensure a warranty claim can be successfully created should it be necessary.

Prices to Expect with Danze Kitchen Faucets

A majority of Danze kitchen faucets can be found between $200-$300. This incorporates multiple design options, including the commercial-style Parma faucet with a chrome finish.

There are premium faucet options that are priced higher than $300. The Parma trim-line single handle pull-down kitchen faucet, for example, is priced for around $350 on most websites. The Opulence collection by Danze begins with an MSRP of $309 for a single-handle bar faucet in chrome and goes up to an MSRP of $862 for a two-handle bridge faucet with a side spray in antique copper.

If you’re ready to be inspired by a new look, whether it’s for yourself or for a client, then Danze offers numerous ways to create the perfect kitchen. You can even see how current Danze customers have installed their faucets to get a glimpse of what it could look like in your own home.

One thing is for certain: you have the chance to find or offer the perfect look for a remodeling project or new construction with this brand. It is affordable. It is durable. It will get the job done.

Glacier Bay Faucet Brand Review

Glacier Bay kitchen faucets are an excellent entry-level option for homeowners seeking to replace or upgrade at home. It is a brand, not a manufacturer, so where you choose to purchase these faucets matters quite a bit.

Glacier Bay is currently owned by Home Depot and is considered one of their house brands. Not only will you find kitchen faucets for sale with this branding, but coordinating sinks, mirrors, vanities, and even toilets are available.

You can find them for sale at your local Home Depot store or through their online platform. Glacier Bay products are also available through several e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and eBay.

About Glacier Bay as a Brand

Glacier Bay is intended to be an affordable brand that markets itself to homeowners, DIY installers, and professionals who work on remodeling projects or new construction. Because it is a house brand of Home Depot, these faucets are widely available to consumers throughout the world.

Various acquisitions by Home Depot over the years has influenced the design, quality, and features that are available with Glacier Bay products. In 1996, Home Depot acquired a home improvement retail chain in China called The Home Way, which provided access to that retail market and additional manufacturing opportunities.

Home Depot also purchased Your Other Warehouse, which gave them access to the Home Decorators Collection. This brand functioned as a vendor for Home Depot before they were purchased, allowing their ideas to be incorporated into the Glacier Bay brand when appropriate.

Although Investopedia reports that Glacier Bay products are “only carried at Home Depot locations,” there is additional availability online for these kitchen faucets. Care must be taken when purchasing a faucet, however, to ensure that the product isn’t being resold as that would potentially void the warranty on the product.

How Good Are Glacier Bay Kitchen Faucets?

Glacier Bay kitchen faucets are considered an entry-level brand. Because of that, you’ll find a limited variety of product designs and features available in each collection. Expect to find one or two solid features that work with the basic principle of a kitchen faucet.

Our review of ratings for these kitchen faucets centered around Home Depot as that is where a majority of the sales take place. There are limited ratings available on a few other e-commerce platforms as well and those were included with the Home Depot data. We discovered through this research that the overall rating of this brand is 3.8 out of 5.

We did not find any reviews or ratings for Glacier Bay kitchen faucets on common complaint-based websites.

Most consumers speak of this brand as being a quality faucet that distributes water consistently. Installation for most models from this brand is fairly simple, so DIY installations are possible under the right conditions.

The primary complaint that trends through a majority of negative reviews for this brand is a lack of consistency within the electronic components of certain models. Even when the product is professionally installed, there can be immediate and sudden issues with features like a motion sensor or touch technology.

Another common issue that Glacier Bay owners face is a lack of access to repair parts. Home Depot does not always stock the replacement parts that are needed in local stores, which requires an online purchase and a waiting period to repair the faucet, even if a professional has been hired to do the job.

Where Are Glacier Bay Kitchen Faucets Manufactured?

Glacier Bay faucets are manufactured by Home Depot through partnerships that have been created with international companies. These kitchen faucets may be manufactured in China, Taiwan, or Israel. That lowers the overall retail price for this brand while still maintaining ISO-9001 certification.

There are several different finishes available through these various manufacturers, from chrome to oil-rubbed bronze. One popular finish on some faucets is called Heritage Bronze.

Although there are several different locations around the world that handle manufacturing, each faucet features a basic brass construction, a ceramic cartridge that is washerless, and a high arc design, even on pull-down or pull-out models. That gives homeowners a drip-free experience while having more room at the sink to complete their kitchen chores.

One advantage that Glacier Bay offers as a brand is return accessibility. For many kitchen faucets that are defective, the owner is forced to ship the item as a return to receive a warranty-guaranteed refund. Because this is a house brand for Home Depot, consumers can often return their product to the store with proof of purchase to receive an immediate refund that may include taxes that were paid – not just the purchase price.

What Is the Warranty on a Glacier Bay Kitchen Faucet?

Home Depot guarantees that Glacier Bay faucets are “manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship.” The guarantee is that the original purchaser of the kitchen faucet will receive a drip-free, leak-free ownership experience under normal residential use for up to 20 years. If leaks or drips develop within that time frame, then the parts to repair the faucet will be provided free of charge to the purchaser.

Sprays are covered differently under this warranty than faucets. A spray is guaranteed to be free from defects in craftsmanship or materials for just 12 months from the date of purchase.

Some models are described by Home Depot as having a “limited lifetime manufacturer warranty.” Be sure to read the actual warranty provided for the specific Glacier Bay kitchen faucet you prefer. Some descriptions state that a lifetime warranty applies, but the actual document refers to a 20-year warranty instead.

Labor charges or damage caused during the installation are not covered under the warranty. Commercial, business, and industrial use of Glacier Bay faucets are not covered by the warranty either. For homeowners that also run their own business from home, this may cause the warranty to be considered void.

Warranty claims are asked to be made in writing. The claim must include an explanation of the defect which has occurred and must include proof of purchase, along with your personal contact information. Send this claim data to the address below.

Atlanta, GA 30339-4024

It is also possible to make a warranty claim by calling 1 (866) 863-9931, but evidence of the defect will be required in some way for the claim to proceed.

Be sure to follow the buying guide provided by Home Depot to ensure the best possible response should a warranty claim need to be filed.

What Faucet Types Are Available Through Glacier Bay?

Home Depot has created a variety of kitchen faucet types and styles that are budget-friendly, making it possible to enjoy an upgraded look in the kitchen without going broke. These are the most common types of kitchen faucets that are available through Glacier Bay.

  • One Handle Pull Down Kitchen Faucets
  • One Handle Pull Out Kitchen Faucets
  • Two Handle Kitchen Faucets with Side Spray
  • Wall Mount Kitchen Faucets
  • Commercial-Style Kitchen Faucets

One of the best values offered by the Glacier Bay brand is their Series 400 line of commercial-style kitchen faucets. Available in chrome or brushed nickel, the one-handle design provides fast access to water control. It features a high-arc spout and thumb access to switch between the available sprays.

The Series 400 kitchen faucets are ADA-compliant and feature a brass housing for durability. It meets low flow guidelines at 1.8 GPM minute, offers a spout reach of 16 inches, and can be deck-mounted to work with either 1-hole or 3-hole sink configurations.

Now here’s the best news: the retail price on this commercial-style faucet is up to 50% less than comparable models from other brands and manufacturers.

What Is the Price of a Glacier Bay Kitchen Faucet?

Glacier Bay is one of the most affordable brands in the industry today. Almost every kitchen faucet that is offered can be found for less than $100. Several models can be purchased directly from a local store. If shopping online, Home Depot offers some uses an option to pick up their order after 4pm locally.

For those who do not have access to a local Home Depot, however, there are more restrictions placed on the ordering process. Home Depot does not make every faucet model available for purchase online.

Other e-commerce platforms have a limited supply of Glacier Bay kitchen faucets that are priced equally to Home Depot pricing in many instances. Certain models, such as faucets with a white finish that are quite popular, may have more availability on other platforms.

Expect to pay around $100 for your new Glacier Bay faucet. Basic models can be found for less than $75, however, and certain basic models with no features can sometimes be priced below $50.

If you’re looking for a value brand that still provides an upgraded kitchen aesthetic at the sink, give Glacier Bay some consideration. It is a brand with greater availability, easier returns, and affordable prices. For the homeowner on a budget, that is a combination that is just too good to ignore.
